As noted by Scott Van Pelt on ESPN today, the security at the Masters can handle any uppity patrons of the fine Southern establishment. What they can't control are the skies -- at least not entirely anyway; which is how a plane with the banner, "Tiger: Did You Mean 'Bootyism'?" managed to make it's way over the course.
First of all, kudos to ESPN for showing the plane (even if, because AP photogs were getting loose on the plane, they had no choice) and then discussing its presence.
Secondly, who do these people think they are, invading God's country's airspace like that? Typically, the answer would be: "PETA." But since this has nothing to do with animals, and Buddhists don't really seem like the kind to take the aggressive "public sky humiliation" angle, let's just assume it was the Chi Phi's at UGA and move on. It's a better use of their funds than usual.
“Bootyism” Banner For Tiger Woods – Tiger Woods is back on the golf course and he’s getting heckled more than just someone occasionally yelling something in the background. Instead, people are being more creative – they are using planes and banners to take jabs at the pro golfer.
Tiger Woods was probably feeling a little better now that he is on the golf course playing in the Masters today. Of course, there was a large crowd, like expected, and with that there was even more security. Apparently, there wasn’t enough security as planes with banners caught a lot of attention from just about everybody.
The first banner that flew by read: “TIGER: DID YOU MEAN BOOTYISM?” This is in reference to Tiger Woods promising to return to his Buddhist ways and that he had drifted away from it for quite sometime.
But if you thought that was the last banner, well, you’re wrong… shortly after the “Bootyism” banner, another one flew by. This one read: “SEX ADDICT? YEAH. RIGHT. SURE. ME TOO!”
I guess it’s going to take quite sometime for Tiger Woods to get back into the non-scandal life. Though, I doubt that will happen any time soon, if ever.
Anyways, “Bootyism” is defined as a religion originating in the east(coast) encouraging the endowment of large quantities of (female) booty, getting booty, banging booty, etc. or Bootyism is a sexy religion often confused with Buddhism according to the Urban Dictionary.
Here’s the new Nike Commercial featuring Tiger Woods and the voice of his deceased father, Earl Woods. That’s right, Tiger does not say anything in the ad, he just looks very serious; I think we all know why. (Scroll down to watch Tiger’s New Nike ad)
Watch Tiger’s New Nike commercial after the jump…
The commercial was released earlier today; the same time another mistress of Tiger came out of the woodwork. What is it now? Mistress # 15, 16 or 17? This one is Woods’ neighbor’s daughter. (Sigh) What would you be thinking if you were Elin Nordegren, his cheated wife?
TMZ is doing a poll of its readers asking whether they think the new Tiger ad is “sincere” or “PR BS” and so far 76% including myself call it “PR BS”.
Tell us what do you think of the ad? “Sincere” or “Pure PR BS”?
